Brand Ambassador / Community Events Specialist
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Candidate must live in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to positively engage the public
- Ability to represent the brand in a highly positive manner
- Access to a computer and/or smartphone for reporting sampling results
- Knowledge of DropBox and Google Docs
Responsibilities:
- Events are typically 4-6 hours at various times from Thursday – Sunday. Average contractor will work 2-3 shifts per week, depending on event availability. Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner with management and at community events.
- Assess customers’ needs and interests to best recommend products
- Timely completion of all call reports, paperwork, and on-going training
- The Specialist generates excitement, customer engagement, brand awareness, and increase call to action tips through conducting event engagement
- Engage customers in a professional and memorable manner which generates enthusiasm for the product and the event and helps create a positive experience
- Educate the consumer about the products, create brand awareness, and drive product sales
- Maintain a safe and clean condition
- Perform administrative work
- Study product materials to develop product knowledge
- Review event schedule
- Attend trainings (virtual and live)
- Check voice mails and emails
- Participate in scheduled calls with Supervisor/others as needed
