As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that meaningful conversations about mental well-being must continue year-round. At The L3 Agency, we’ve been intentional this month about fostering open, honest dialogue through a series of impactful Instagram Live sessions.

We kicked things off with a powerful conversation about the journey from menstruation to menopause—an often-overlooked topic that affects women throughout their lives. This discussion highlighted the emotional and physical challenges women face and emphasized the importance of normalizing open dialogue about womanhood at every stage.

Our second session tackled the stigma surrounding therapy and counseling, especially in Black and Brown communities. We debunked common myths and reframed therapy as a tool for empowerment, not weakness, encouraging more people to seek support without shame.

These conversations are just the beginning. Even in 2025, mental health remains a sensitive and often stigmatized topic in many communities of color. We must continue to normalize speaking up, seeking help, and prioritizing our emotional and mental well-being.

Here are three simple ways you can support your mental health this summer:

  1. Protect Your Peace: Set boundaries around your time, energy, and social media use.

  2. Prioritize Joy: Make space for activities that bring you happiness—whether it’s time in nature, creative hobbies, or rest.

  3. Stay Connected: Check in on your people and let them check in on you. Community care matters.
